The Toys & Togs Sale is a fabulous resource for members - for both selling and shopping.
Selling
EMOMs members have the option to sell items relating to pregnancy, infants, and children at this twice-annual sale. Members tag their items, set them up prior to the sale, and collect any unsold items at the close of the sale. A few weeks after the sale, they get to take home a check for their items that sold. The club keeps a percentage of the proceeds to cover the costs associated with the sale itself and to support future EMOMs programs.
This is a great way for members to:
- support the club, by sharing a portion of
income generated,
- support fellow club members, by providing
gently used, reasonably priced items for sale,
- connect and form friendships with other EMOMs members
while working at the sale, and
- recoup some of the tremendous investment made in baby/child gear!
Member Shopping
In addition to having the ability to sell used items at the sale, members have
the privilege of shopping early the day of the sale. This means early access to
hot-selling items, including big-ticket items such as cribs, strollers, and car
seats, as well as first dibs on toys and clothing. Members must be in good
standing well in advance of the sale to be eligible for early member shop.
